If you thought you could play EURO Fantasy just like Fantasy Premier League, think again. FPLOL has gathered an overview of the biggest differences between the 4 most popular leagues, including manual “gameweek” subs/captaincy swap, number of transfers, wildcards, chips and prize pools.

These differences will probably make you want to have completely different strategies in the UEFA Euro Fantasy compared to the other three. Bethard, Fanteam and TV2/NRK all use the same platform from Scout Gaming Group, and the rules appear to be the same for Bethard and Fanteam, but there are some differences on the game from TV2/NRK. We advise you to double check this and please do tell us if you find any errors in the sheet above.

When it comes to Fantasy strategy, the most noteworthy differences are of course the number of wildcards and transfers between “gameweeks”, but on UEFA’S Euro Fantasy version you can actually change captain and make manual substitutions in the middle of a “gameweek”. For example you can select a captain for the opening match between Italy and Turkey, and if he does not deliver you can give the armband to someone who plays rater in the same round. This will probably make you want to spread your likely captains between more matches, instead of having many premium players in one match. In the UEFA version you also have two wildcards plus chip called “limitless” (unlimited transfers and budget for one “gameweek”).

Do you breathe with that little thing??

Good luck in the EURO Fantasy leagues!
