Great news from FPLOL.com: FanTeam’s tournaments are already live, which means you don’t have to wait any longer to see how much FPL players cost at the start of 20/21.
The only thing more agonising than waiting for each season’s FPL to be released is an FPL game week full of red arrows. A closer look at the pre-season tips of our stats-pundit “Opta Gonz” might help with some of the red arrows, but we have other news that should help as an instant remedy against waiting:
No pre-season price changes
Fantasy betting provider FanTeam have released their 20/21 season tournaments with prices for all players, and even better:
“I can confirm that the prices will not change before the season starts”, said FanTeam Head of Marketing Francisco Reinhard.
The official FPL game is predicted to be released two weeks before the deadline of the first gameweek (12th September). In practice, that means that the early launch of the FanTeam leagues will cost you several weeks extra of spending degenerate amounts of hours finding the players you know have the best value, only for the games to actually start, miss out completely with most players, activate your wildcard and devote 97% of your brain capacity to it.
Then you see the players you transferred in increase in value, some of them give you a good return, you start seeing green arrows and you immediately decide it was all worth it.
How can you possibly argue that fantasy football isn’t the #1 way of beating your friends and colleagues, without going to prison in the process? You can’t.
1200+ players registered already
More than 1200 players have already entered their team in the most popular FanTeam tournament, which has a €25 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. The winner gets at least €200K(!). If you make a deposit and enter the tournament by clicking here, you will get a nice bonus of €30 extra to play for.
In this article, we take a closer look at the differences between the official FPL tournament and FanTeam’s tournaments, and without further ado, here are all of the 10 players priced higher than 10 million at the beginning of the 20/21 FPL season at FanTeam:
10 players over 10 million
Kevin De Bruyne 12,5M
Mohamed Salah 12,5M
Sadio Mané 12M
Sergio Agüero 11,5M
Raheem Sterling 11M
Harry Kane 11M
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 11M
Bruno Fernandes 11M
Jamie Vardy 10,5M
Anthony Martial 10,5M
Who represents the best value? Who is the worst value? Let the trolling begin.
PS: Want to join the FPLOLYMPICS? All you need to do is find two friends to sign up for the €25 FanTeam tournament, together with you, and send your team names to roy@fplol.com.
